DAX’s TO BE A MAN IS AN UNFILTERED GLIMPSE INTO MEN’S STRUGGLES AND RESILIENCE

A lot of times we often ignore the struggles men go through, and sometimes even make it seem like men are some sort of superhumans who don’t feel pain or hurt. But nope men also have emotional feelings..they also go through everything there’s so far as life is concerned. But today I’ve got one of ma favorite music arts here, been a fan of this artist since his begining. DAX!! Haha man I’m Soo excited to do this for one of ma favorite artist and he’s come out with a new one that talks about the struggles men go through and how to man up. He’s titled this one “To Be a Man.” DAX is honest and direct about the tough parts of being a man here, he shares his own experience in this one and what every man goes through.
We all know DAX, his pen game is elite and with this one he makes it clear how hard it can be for a man. What he(men) goes through has got him a feeling that others might not understand, but he wants to come clear with what happens through his life as a man. In the song DAX elaborates on the pressure society puts on men just to be what they the society thinks men should be, like the society expect too much from men in their personal life and even work.
Per the lyrics men have been tasked to do everything, providing for your family meeting certain standards just to be labelled as a good man, but they often forget about the struggles that comes with all those that society wants as a “good man”. The chorus, “I can’t hide myself, I don’t expect you to understand, I just hope I can explain what it’s like to be a man,” is the main idea of the song. It shows a desire to open up and share the feelings that many men keep hidden.
The song also talks about how fathers influence their sons in terms of behavior and carrying the unspoken burdens of being a man. The lyrics in the song recognize that it can be hard for men to express their feelings or ask for help. It shows men going to work, dealing with their inner struggles, and using alcohol to cope with their pain.Despite all the emotional pain, the song has a message of hope and the idea that future generations can be more open about their feelings.
