“REMNANTS” BY THE NEUROMANIACS: AN INSTRUMENTAL COSMIC JOURNEY OF LIFE

If music can’t be enjoyed without lyrics then it’s not music, so I’m always moved by artist who are able to create music without lyrics yet are able to create something that is able to move the listener and sends a message down their spine to make them feel as tho the track is filled with lyrics. Life they say is like a circle, whatever goes around always comes around and and this is what Johnny Brewer, the brains behind the project The Neuromaniacs, has crafted an intriguing instrumental piece that takes listeners on a charming journey through the galaxy on his latest single titled “Remnants.” The track that comes with an accompanied video is an eye watering masterpiece that is gonna leave you in your feels about the things of life. It’s a track that to me tries to tell us that life can be beautiful in every way, and also life is the same everywhere. Because if life is moving in a circle on earth, then it’s same on the cosmic realm also. For if there’s an oppressor on earth, there’s an oppressor in another place too. And that is the beauty of the track, the beats wow, just soo smooth and marvelous with every single element shining through a refined polished production.
Now this track “Remnants” which comes after their debut, titled “Revelations” made huge waves in the industry, offers a different paint and gives us a nice different portrait to life. In the track “Revelations”, darker elements or paints were used but here in “Remnants”, the colours are cool, calm and offers a more explorative journey. From the video, as soon you hit the play button, you’re met with human eye that opens from the pupil in a circular nature which then transitions into a circular hole down the earth, indicating how life is everywhere. For the people you meet on your way up, they are the same people you will meet on your way down, telling you, life is the same everywhere and can happen to anyone. You may be struggling today, filled with pain and struggling and then boom, everything begins to work for you, hinting that your circle of life has reached the sun where it’s shining and thus everything is beautiful, and at that time it may be dark for someone too. So just keep going and keep believing and take it into account that life in it simplest form is in circle and we all moving in it flow and direction. One thing I love about the track is how it creates this atmosphere filled with emotions and believe, telling you that even if it’s only you, keep believing, and wait till it shines, keep polishing till it shines. Then those beats, soo immaculate with its psychedelic element along with those ambient melodies and synths giving this cosmic feel and experience through different phases of life. Then as the song progresses, it takes a different turn, gets more thicker and moves beautifully in a bit slower tone then switches back to its intensity, hinting at how even tho life is in circles, but can also be bumpy and therefore take your time and enjoy the beauty of it. As the song’s intensity grows, every element of sound still shines, and makes you feel as though you’re travelling through the skies and experiencing everything they call beauty with the beats soo calm and smooth, helps you reflect, sit and ponder on things that matters to you, giving you the room to explore and enjoy the beauty in everything and not over complicate things. Such a masterpiece of creativity and innovation, bravo John, you nailed it again.
Oh wait, you know he self-produced the video? My goodness yes he did, and that’s why we have such an amazing body of work, whew that video is just nuts, and the way it complements the song is soo amazing and gives a deep insight to listeners about the track. Everything that was created is beautiful and therefore even the smallest of them keeps believing they can be great, for without the minority, the majority doesn’t survive, so whatever you do, keep believing, don’t let anyone sway your beliefs, keep going, for one day, the stone the builders rejected will become the chief cornerstone. And that is Remnants for you, even tho this is an instrumental piece, but The Neuromaniacs has hint at bringing vocals to their next release, so guys anticipate and enjoy this beauty of a track. It’s a captivating track that lets you dream, takes you from your usual life and let’s you enjoy what you think you can’t enjoy.
