So when a song like that pops up, you just have to hop on it. And ma man here Icarus Phoenix’s latest single, “Doctor! Doctor!” is the piece that you need when you feel there’s no need to even exist, when you feel like there’s no reason to live even when you have a family but life has made you feel worthless because you think ya ain’t man enough, this feeling is what Icarus Phoenix(Drew Danburry) has crafted from his person experience for us on this track. If you’ve been following him for a while now, you’d realize that these tracks from him “High Tide” and “Painting (feat. Teleprom),” are tracks that goes on to show his ability to craft deep emotional lyrics that resonates deeply with every listener.

So even at your lowest point in life as a man, just being a man is enough, you don’t need a paycheck to be the best man or dad, just live life, enjoy it simple stuffs and keep believing. I love the way the song allows you to ponder and reflect on yourself and see beyond societa expectations which is weighing people down. Sometimes the world is callous, and it’s cold, which may have you thinking you don’t fit the mold of an ideal man. Man the song is really intriguing, the way it was stripped down to match the heartfelt lyrics is what even makes it a must-listen, it gives off this off-kilter folk and heartfelt melody infusion.
