4fro Nick’s ‘Don’t Waste My Time’ Delivers a Powerful Message of Self-Worth

You know those moments where you feel like your schedule is completely packed with things you absolutely do not want to do, or people who just suck the energy straight out of you, you experience that before right, cos we’ve all been there. You look at the clock, realize you just spent two hours listening to someone complain, and think, well, I am never getting that time back, it’s gone, meanwhile that time could have been used for something more positive in your life.

So tell you what, if you’re ready to finally set some boundaries and protect your peace, you need to listen to the new project from ma man here 4fro Nick. He just dropped a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl release on June 16th, and it features two tracks that are the ultimate antidote to everyday nonsense. The man behind the music is Nick Anastasakis. He has had a pretty wild journey if you ask me, I mean he was born in Crete, grew up around the Mediterranean, moved to New York, and is now based out of Los Angeles. As a kid on the island of Crete, he used to watch street musicians play guitars on old cobblestone streets for spare coins. That raw, passionate, street-level energy stuck with him. Today, he makes a brilliant blend of indie rock, soul, alternative, and psychedelic rock.

For this specific project, 4fro Nick did not handle everything alone. He brought in some absolute heavy hitters to back him up. We are talking about a Grammy winner named Leo Genovese on the synths, a legendary drummer named Johnny Radelat, and a classic rock-and-roll bassist named George Athanas. Plus, the legendary sound engineer Bharath Ramanath, also known as Cheex, helped polish the whole thing at his Fringe Complex Music Studio. It’s a dream team of musicians just having a blast.

Come sit with me, let’s take a look at both sides of this vinyl record. On the side A: “Don’t Waste My Time (LA Mix)“. This is the big new track that just landed online alongside the vinyl release. From the second it starts, you get hit with driving guitar riffs, soulful choruses, and a cool flash of indie-rock funk. Nick’s vocals are super expressive, and the guitar work is incredibly tasteful without being flashy just for the sake of it.

The message here is an absolute anthem for self-worth. It radiates confidence, mixed with a little bit of quiet introspection. The lyrics serve as a blunt reminder to value your own time and break free from invisible limitations. It’s about dropping the hesitation, walking away from bad vibes, and taking charge of your own life. Even though it deals with struggle, the song never loses its carefree, fun spirit. It tells you to live boldly, have fun, and stop letting outside noise slow you down. To me it’s the perfect song to blast in your car after quitting a bad job.

Then we get to the Side B: “Get There Before Noon (LA2 Mix).”Flip the vinyl over to the B-side and you get “Get There Before Noon“, which was already floating around online and is getting a brand-new video soon. This track leans heavily into eclectic alternative rock and psychedelic vibes, mixed with some really twisted, interesting lyricism and fearless confidence.

The message on this side matches the A-side perfectly, but looks at things from a different angle. Instead of telling people to leave you alone, this song is a massive reminder to make the absolute most of life right now, in the exact moment, while you still can. The clock is always ticking, and noon is coming whether you like it or not. It is a high-energy push to chase your excitement, enjoy life with everything you have got, and stop waiting for the perfect moment to start living.

4fro Nick ain’t trying to reinvent the wheel or make over-complicated art that requires a textbook to understand. This 7-inch release is just pure, authentic, emotionally charged rock and roll made by guys who love the simple thrill of playing instruments together. It’s fun, it’s honest, and it might actually convince you to finally delete that annoying person’s phone number. Well anyway go check out the links, grab a copy of the vinyl if you love that physical record warmth, and turn the volume up. Don’t waste any more time.
