‘DREAM OF A MAN IN A TOP HAT’ SLAMS IT IN OUR FACES WITH THEIR BANGER “WORRY”

When life kicks in hard at you and you realize there’s nothing left to fight for, to hold onto. Then you gotta remember there’s nothing to worry about. The surprises that comes with it, makes you wanna do the unthinkable but then worry not and believe nature’s got your back. With no doubt this song had given me another perspective about life and they really got their lyrics on point. With their smooth unique sound that gives you the urge to yearn for more and keep you in the mood to listen to this beautiful song. Now let’s look at these amazing duo.

Dream of a Man in a Top Hat, an alternative/neo-psychedelic/post-punk duo, is back with their latest single, “WORRY,” , which is also part of their Bandcamp album release, “Buzzy Beans,” where listeners have the freedom to choose their price when purchasing the album. The band is made up of Lee Leffler (handling guitars, vocals, and everything else except drums) and Michael Frackleton (taking charge of drums, vocals, and everything else except the guitar). Two-thirds of the 80’s Boston post-punk band, Native Tongue, these musicians have reunited after more than 30 years, mixing their old-school vibes with new technology.

While their rehearsal space may now be in separate houses, and the lyrics are typed into phones instead of written on scrap paper, the duo’s spirit remains the same. As one music blogger said, “they have conspired to go about things in the only way they see possible, and that means the rest of us have to shape up or ship out.” In 2021, Dream of a Man in a Top Hat went beyond instrumentals, adding vocals to a full-length album, “Sudden Return Of DOAMIATH.” Critics, bloggers, and playlisters were surprised by the album’s unique and amazing sound.

Throughout 2022, the duo released a series of singles including “Unfamiliar Streets,” “All Time Is Borrowed Time,” “Cold Hard Dirt,” “Eggshell Minefield,” “Opposite Poles,” and “The Destination.” These releases, each with a different style, showed their ability to adapt and change their style.

Now, in 2023, Dream of a Man in a Top Hat is back in action, working on their second EP, “Truthsenser.” The first single from this EP, “Like a Fire Engine,” blends elements of Alt-Rock, Post-Punk, Psychedelia, and Rock ‘N’ Roll into a vintage-yet-futuristic sound that takes listeners on a thrilling musical journey. Their upcoming single, “WORRY,” which was released on September 15, 2023, and it has since gained heights in the music industry with it unique sound.
