Ben Rankin Drops a Bold New Single: ‘Save Your Tears’
Ben Rankin is back with a new single called “Save Your Tears,”and it might be one of his most honest songs yet. He’s only 21, but he already writes like someone who’s lived three extra lives and kept the receipts.
The song is all about standing your ground when people try to tell you who to be or how to feel. Ben has dealt with folks who tried to control his reactions or convinced him he was “overthinking.” Instead of yelling at them (which would’ve been fun), he turned the whole experience into a track that actually hits pretty hard.

What makes the song even better is that he recorded it by himself in his home studio. No fancy equipment, no giant team—just Ben, his ideas, and probably a cup of coffee that went cold way too fast. Because of that, the track feels close and personal, like he’s talking straight to you.
Musically, he pulls from his usual mix of rock, metal, and pop. Fans of Asking Alexandria or EDEN will recognize shades of those styles, but Ben doesn’t copy anyone. He just uses his influences the way people use seasoning—enough to taste, but not enough to overpower the meal.
“Save Your Tears” is also the first single from his fifth album, ‘In Memoriam’, coming out February 27, 2026. If this track is a preview, the album will probably make people feel something… and maybe yell along in the car. Ben Rankin made a bold, heartfelt track in his own space, about finding your voice when others try to mute it. And seriously? It slaps!
