DANIELLE BLOOM ROCKED THE HOLIDAYS WITH A UNIQUE TWIST ON “OH HOLY NIGHT”

3 min read

Oh believe me when I say the Christmas holidays was filled with good music and bangers which i know you probably missed a lot haha but don’t worry I got you covered and today I bring to you “Oh Holy Night” by Danielle Bloom, a preacher’s daughter with a rebellious spirit, traded in her choir robes for corsets and cut-offs to become a kick-ass, hard-driving Rock-n-Roll Goddess. You dig ?? Haha, now growing up, she sang in the choir and toured the church festival but you know what? That didn’t shatter her dreams but instead helped kick start her journey to the rock scenes. You may wonder but she actually shared the stage with Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Vanilla Ice, and MC Hammer, and man Danielle Bloom has really become a force in the rock genre you can’t ignore, so just know you’re in for a treat.

Now lemme bombard you with some awe moments, at age 16 she broke through with this pop record and also sang out the National Anthem at sporting events, if so then why is she a rock goddess? Oh that’s because she is a versatile beautiful amazing artist whose talent is beyond normal. Due to this her music carries this different spices blended together to a refined taste that listeners can’t get enough of it. But here’s the catch, after everything she moved to Nashville to refine her rock craft and master the art of no-nonsense rock and roll songwriting. Collaborating with writers like her brother, Kid Rock bassist Aaron Julison, Danielle crafted a catalog of gritty, introspective songs that tell her story. Her music reflects authenticity, drawing from personal experiences and emotions. Danielle expresses, “I want to live as authentically as I can and hope to inspire others to do the same.”

What’s beautiful about Danielle is how authentic and raw her songwriting is and without doubt her energy in her live performances are unmatched and attest to her in-your-face, no-holds-barred approach to rock. Often compared to Janis Joplin or Joan Jett, not only does she portrays incredible vocal dynamics but her stage craft is out of this world. She loves to perform and infact when you listen to her tracks you feel that connection and energy she has with her audience.

Now her latest release, “Oh Holy Night,” showcases a different side of Danielle, capturing the nostalgia of a hymn she used to sing in church at the age of 11. The song holds deep sentimental value, aiming to evoke emotions and memories in listeners while sharing a piece of Danielle’s personal history. With Mike Farmer’s expert production, the song becomes a heartfelt homage to cherished moments and a gift of warmth through music. As Danielle says, “It’s amazing how certain songs have the power to transport us back in time, evoking emotions and memories we hold dear.”

“Holy Night” has this different feel and vibe that gets listeners glued, especially with the way Danielle sings this one, the vocals are diverse and has everything to rock you haha. See those vocals switches and hitting those pitches Soo well and keeping it all together makes this song soo awesome to enjoy and with the way she covered it is wholesome, wow. Calm yet rocky, down tempo but has this hymn vibe but very different and wow makes you fall in love and hooked till the end. So what you waiting for? Go enjoy the best cover that came out. Trust me, the delivery, vocals and beats are solid and no cap 10/10. Go and treat yourself to some good music and enjoy more from Danielle on the links below;
