FAT BOTTOMED BOYS STRIKE AGAIN WITH “LA LA LA”, A GLIMPSE INTO “HATERS GONNA HATE”

After waiting for what seems to feel like eons, The Fat Bottomed Boys have finally released “La La La”. Known for dropping 10/10 albums back-to-back-to-back, The Fat Bottomed boys are the only band we can say is truly carrying the Queen’s legacy. With “La La La”, they give us a sneak peak into what to expect from their yet to be released album “Haters Gonna Hate” which fans have been waiting for a very very long time. Not gonna lie, but after listening to “La La La”, there’s no doubt “Haters Gonna Hate” will most definitely be worth the wait.
Alright let’s take a trip down memory lane. Before the band was even made, The sgt. and Elash(The Band Members), were HUUUUGE fans of the Queen band. I’m talking about room full of Queen band poster, underwear with Queen print on pictures, yes, it was that deep. But right before making “Fat Bottomed Boys”, The sgt. and Elash were actually in a tribute band to the Queen, Rock You!. After that, the boys decided on making original songs of their own that still paid homage to their idols, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is how “Fat Bottomed Boys” was birthed.
The Fat Bottomed boys have been making music and polishing their skills since the creation of the band but 2020 was the year that really started things of for them. As a result of the COVID outbreak and the lock down that followed, they finally had so much time on their hands they decided to work some magic. Well and that is exactly how their first album “Let’s Do It” was made and was released later on in the year on September 5th, 2020. Faced with the challenge of not being able to perform on events in 2021 due to the lockdown, they came up with an idea of making an online festival and later made the “Rock the Casa Festival” which was streamed on Youtube and in that very same year, they dropped their second album “Too Much Is Not Enough” on September 5th, 2021 and then dropped another album in 2022.
As we wait for the release of the “Haters Gonna Hate” album November 24th, 2023, Fat Bottomed Boys releases “La La La” to show us what to expect from the album. After listening to this song on repeat for hours, hey i can’t even lie, “Haters Gonna Hate” might be in the top high in ranks amongst albums of the year, no cap. That’s how good they are and how magnificent this single is.
“La La La” opens with beats that will have you hooked throughout the song. The lyrics, delivery and vocals of the song speaks for itself. “La La La” is a song that talks about how things aren’t always as they seem on the outside, how some celebrities are “Manufactured” with lyrics like “Your song goes like, La La La La and you didn’t write it” and how people relentlessly chase success. A lot of the time people seems they know too much but then again turns out they only know as little as they have been allowed, then a situation arises and they think yeah this how it is but also turns out to be the other way round. As much as I’d like to talk about this song Soo much, I just don’t wanna be a spoiler and thus it’d be way better if you listened to it and experienced it first-hand.
