Sometimes you need to try different stuffs, especially when you been stuck with same stuffs for a long time or sometimes you wanna be in people’s world and experience how they feel and join them in their world. So it’s why I’m introducing to you “Golem Dance Cult” and their new song “Ghost of Las Vegas” which is the latest release of Golem Dance Cult.
This is a song that talks about being alone and surrounded by ghosts and spirits. The fear, the suspense of walking through lonely nights, with the thoughts of having ghosts around you, that terror , the imaginations that comes to head, whew creates a scene of a world you would wanna experience and that’s what this song gives. The song’s music video which was directed by Klaus Karloff, has scenes from countries like France, Australia, Washington (USA), and Bali which shows how people all over the world relate to this song.
Now catch the vibe here, just at the begining of the video, you feel that suspense and curiosity, as the beat drops, that grand entry of a ghost like character with a guitar from a strange dark door is wholesome, making you feel that weirdness of this band. I love it, it reminds me of Michael Jackson’s song Ghosts. If you continue the video there’s a scene which everyone is fleeing, running for safety and that creates an environment of fear that comes with being surrounded with ghosts and spirits. It’s a beautiful song that you must listen to and watch the video to get the whole concept.
Golem Dance Cult which was founded by Charles Why and Laur, makes most of their music in the rock genre and that’s where this track has also been made and it’s actually part of their album “Legend of the Bleeding Heart” which was released on May 23rd, 2023. Ever since the band was made, they’ve been making quite the name for themselves in the music industry and some of the words people have used to describe them and their music are “glorious and visceral”, “a movement, a call to arms”, which just shows the impact they’re really making.
