What I’ve realized is not many are able to do this music thingy to bits. But for some, they just killing it. And that paints a picture of life, some are killing it, while others are struggling to even get a sniff of it. But then we all have this hope that one day we will achieve a state of everlasting happiness. Well I have ma man here Ari Joshua, who has got this rendition of the Garcia/Hunter classic, “Help on the Way,” in his compilations. The track features a crazy lineup including drummer John Kimock, bassist Andy Hess, and keyboardist Eden Ladin, and man they gave this Garcia/Hunter classic a fresh breath that listeners can’t do away with after hitting the play button.

Now this song “Help on the Way” happens to be the fourth release from Ari Joshua’s collaborative project, demonstrating his modern creative approach to music production and composition. The song which was recorded at the prestigious Bunker Studio in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood, brings this live band performances vibes that I f**k with soo much. This is a track you don’t wanna miss for anything in the world. The track starts beautifully some crazy notes coupled with those soulful vocals, which gives the song this rich taste that mesmerizes listeners and take them into an atmosphere of love, perseverance and a quest for happiness. From Eden Ladin’s analog keyboards blending effortlessly with Ari Joshua’s lyrical guitar, Andy Hess’s bass and John Kimock’s drums holding the groove with precision and finesse.

“Help on the Way’s lyircs lay emphasis on longing and hope, while infusing a tale of love, perseverance, and how one aspire to be happy. As the song goes on, you realize how one aspire to be in a position where pain is non-existent, and all is glorious and beautiful with a life filled with simplicity and purity amidst all this chaos world. The song urges us to transform and grow, overcome our struggles and fight to reach the very top where we ought to be. But one can’t deny the emotional content the song offers, it strikes your soul and stir it, then connect it into the feels of the artist. “Don’t stop to run” a line hinting at the importance of perseverance and determination. Fight by believing there’s help on the way coming, so you wanna survive and wait for that help. Ari Joshua you killed this man and kudos to you. But in it all, the struggles sometimes devour us but that’s when the importance of our loved ones comes in, to comfort us, support us and ginger us to keep going.

Ari Joshua’s rendition pays homage to the legendary partnership between Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter. With inspirations from his own musical journey and experiences, Joshua leads the ensemble with passion and authenticity. According to Ari Joshua, “Help on the Way” holds deep personal significance, offering help and healing to those in need, to find solace and embrace the transformative power of music. What I love most about this song is the beats, they are soo refined and luring, the way it starts the track is wholesome, the beats grows from afar, creating a curious moment for the listener to embrace. With this reggae vibe lingering behind and keeping the listener entertained and glued throughout. Those interludes are magical and soothing, wow, man it’s beautiful and wish it never ends.

Well “Help on the Way” ain’t just any song, but also demonstrates Ari Joshua’s ability to channel emotions and depth into his compositions. This is a song made to uplift you, heal you and offer comfort to you. So why don’t you go ahead and give this song a good listen and treat yourself to some great music this weekend. ENJOY!!
