Kristin Grayden Turns Work Stress Into a Dance Track on “Caffeine”

If you have ever felt like a zombie walking into work at 8:00 AM, Kristin Grayden has written your new theme song. Her latest single, “Caffeine”, dropped right at the end of 2025, and it is a total mood for anyone who hates their alarm clock.

Kristin is only 23 and comes from Perth, Australia. The coolest part about this track? She did everything herself. She wrote it, edited it, and produced it right in her own bedroom. There is no giant team of suits behind this, just a girl and her music.

The song is about that gross, “unhealthy” feeling you get when you’re stuck in a boring 8-4 job. Kristin admits she used to wake up at 7:00 AM every single day just to go to McDonald’s. It wasn’t because she loved the food that much—it was just the only way she could cope with the stress and boredom of her shift. We’ve all been there. Sometimes a hash brown is the only thing keeping you from quitting on the spot.

Even though the lyrics are a bit deep and personal, the music doesn’t sound sad at all. It’s got a fast, upbeat pop-rock vibe that reminds me of early P!nk. Most people write slow, depressing ballads when they’re stressed out, but Kristin decided to make something you can actually dance to. The beats are enjoyable, It is catchy, relatable, and way better than an actual cup of coffee.

She says she wanted to start 2026 with a positive mindset. She isn’t worried about becoming a global superstar overnight; she just wants to be proud of the goals she hits. Honestly, that’s a better outlook than most people have these days.

“Caffeine” is a great teaser for her full album coming out in May 2026. If the rest of the record is this honest and fun, we’re in for a treat. For now, go give this a listen—it’s cheaper than a Big Mac and lasts much longer.
