Music I say doesn’t know backgrounds, comes from everywhere, anywhere and anything and I can’t stress this enough but sometimes the best of songs comes from the smallest of imaginations and I got this duo Mesmershade here, who comes from Tokyo and Honolulu, and man these guys are talented and know what they about. Now the fascinating thing about them is how they embraces their Eastern roots, delivering a dark and edgy musical experience. Well well well today I bring to you their latest single “Petrichor,” a song that portrays a blend of synth tones, those evoking female vocals, trap-inspired beats, and lyrics that generates a thought-provoking atmosphere coupled with a faint haunting experience, which leaves listeners in awe and wanting for more haha. One may argue but but it’s not been long since their debut EP haha yes, but the waves these guys are making attest to their good creativity and music brains along their consistency. “Petrichor”, a song that acts as a tribute to a late grandfather, also talks about how you can thrive through the world by what our greats elders thought us.
