The way the song starts is even intriguing with those guitars blending in with the heavy drums that drives the song’s atmosphere, which frees the vocals to pierce the soul of the listener and keep them glued to the song’s theme. The song lay emphasis on taking control over your life and fighting for your freedom and deciding your fate. If you’ve played that video game, you’d know how resilient you have to be, to be able to achieve your freedom, you’ve to battle it out and clear anything that may hinder you. So why are you giving up because a stage is hard? Find a way around it and make it to the top, never give up for it even gets harder when you’re nearing the end. This is something that resonates deeply with the listener and the way he crafted those beats, it consumes you and transports you into the song’s atmosphere and let you contemplate. Well Fatal Wings was actually recorded in Parham’s home studio with very little equipment and this goes a long way to show just how dedicated he is to making music to express what he feels and thinks no matter what situation he finds himself in.
