It’s crazy how technology is impacting our lives rightly and wrongly but to what extent? Are we gonna sit around and watch tech change our lives? Or ya ain’t aware of what’s going on? Haha don’t worry cos I’ve got Erick Castrillon, who is a multi talented artist to tell us something we all are missing on tech to us on his latest single “The Great Awakening” A song that goes deep about the relationship between man and the machine (Ai).
Talent overdose here, a songwriter, screenwriter and a director in LA. His passion for music was nurturing until it finally sprout. Drawing inspiration from a lots of artists and genres Gorillaz, Tool, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and movie soundtracks. This song comes in as a testament to his talent and how far he’s come.
Being the 4th release from Castrillon, “The Great Awakening” was really crafted from combining synths, coupled with some pop melodies along with techno beats and beauty soundtracks that comes together to create a unique sound that makes the whole song and concept on piunt. The song talks about how sooner than later Ai(Robots) are gonna be the next thing to impact our lives. The lyrics further shed light on how Ai is gonna have feeling in it creation. The amazing thing is the song has vocals from the voice of an Ai who is talking to it’s human maker, telling him He the Ai saw everything he did to It(Ai) and this he’s aware of it all. It’s a song if enlightenment about the next phase in Ai development. The vocals standout for me and those beats complements the lyrics Soo well, it’s a song that sends a message that everyone needs to know so go give it a listen and enjoy what tech can do.
Lots of critics don’t see any issue with the song and hence heaps lots of praise for “The Great Awakening”. With the waves it’s making I’m not surprised Rock Fueguino expressed their admiration for its nice sound, captivating vibes, and amazing vocals and melody. And after experiencing the song I must say, I concur with everything said. It’s a masterpiece crafted from the best and ready to be served hot 🔥.
