In this life, whatever you do sometimes life is gonna eat you up and that’s when sometimes music become your only source of hope, comfort and your safe haven. Life can be soo troubling that sometimes you can see it coming and yet if you’re not careful, you loose out, the problems are gonna hit you hard like a moving train, it’s gonna tear you up and that’s when you need to change your ways and hold unto the faith. Such feeling is what Backstrom, an amazing independent swedish songwriter who’s popularly known for making Folk, Rock and Country music has for us on his single “Train Wreck Coming”. A song which actually features the amazing vocals of Bart Thoper and produced by Fransisco Paz, who also played the drums sounds you hear in the song, and trust me the genre mix in here is awesome and the way you get those country element the moment you hit that play button is unmatched.

The lyrics clearly paint a picture of a disaster coming in the midst of heavy rain with thunder, a house on fire, chaos everywhere which symbolizes struggle and danger, yet you believe you can survive through those moments unscratched, then as the song goes on, the lyrics also lay emphasis on being clear headed and strong headed in order to find a way through all the chaos, it is, indeed, a very beautiful piece of art. And the one that ushers you to believe and have faith. With lines like “Oh Lord, have mercy on our souls tonight” helps you imagine how chaotic the picture the song is trying to paint really is, the atmosphere it creates to let the listener connect and resonate with it deeply is wholesome, then those beats, wow, lets you wanna listen to the song all over again.
