Music is life and it’s no wonder Playground Circus has set the music industry on fire with their remake of “Walking on Sunshine.” This London-based band, known for their electrifying pop punk and skate punk sound, has breathed new life into the iconic hit originally written by Kimberley Rew (of Katrina and the Waves) in 1983.
Coming from Greece and forming in February 2014, Playground Circus has been a force to be reckoned with in the music world. Their debut EP, “The King Is Born,” caught the ear of Punk Listeners in LA , leading to a four-week residency at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in March 2015. After their run at the Whisky A Go Go, Playground Circus made the bold move to permanently relocate to London, UK. Their aim? To carve out a lasting place alongside these industry heavyweights.
