GARY DRANOW AND THE MANIC EMOTIONS UNVEIL A HEARTFELT MASTERPIECE WITH “SHIMMERING”: A LOVE STORY

Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions are back again with a new album and on the album, there’s one song that stands out from the rest. “Shimmering”, described as the heart of the album “Never Give Up”, this song is undoubtedly one of very the best songs these guys have ever made and i will deadass stand on business and argue with anyone about that.

Made up of Gary Dranow, Chris Zoupa and Jason Jones, Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions have made a golden masterpiece with this song. How these guys even got together in the first place to form a band is even amazing. It turns out they actually met online and decided to form a band. Even though each of them have different influence, they can all agree that classic sounds of Jimi Hendrix and progressive rock have really been a big influence them in making albums and songs that sound out of this world.

The band have made it known that they actually draw inspirations to make their songs from things that happen in the world too, like the war in Ukraine. In their song “Mother’s Angry”, they said they took inspiration from environmental problems. I know you definitely said “Wait, what?” after reading that but it’s true, the band members said it themselves and it this unique way of making music that let them make songs that feel so real and relatable.

“Shimmering” is basically a love story about Gary’s first love that started in high school. According to Gary himself and the lyrics, it began as a crush then later turned into love and then, unfortunately, came to an end in his senior year. We all sometimes aren’t lucky with our love story yea, sometimes people find the dumbest way to just break up with you and go, could be you never really even did any wrong but it’s what it is. But hey, as sad as it may sound, we got this song from it so it’s a big win for us fans. The beats, the delivery and the lyrics tells this story so beautifully it shows how good their song is amazingly written. The song was actually recorded in 3 different studios, the first one was in Zoupa’s studio in Melbourne,Australia, the second being in Jason Jone’s studio in Springville in Utah and lastly, Gary’s video in Park Ciy,Utah. This just shows how the band collaborates to work on making music . They’ve recorded, wait for it, 26 songs for their upcoming album, yes 26, that’s insane!.This just shows good they are at what they do.
