“GTFO” BY JANE N’ THE JUNGLE: A POWERFUL ANTHEM AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE AND GREED

3 min read

One thing that is ruining our America is the rise of violence and greed. The rate at which it is becoming a norm is alarming and something needs to be done. But what best available tool can be used than music? And the ability to be able to craft societal issues into melodies and sounds that can pierce through one’s soul and sends them a message is what Jane N’ The Jungle’s latest single, “GTFO” had done. A song that comes in like the air from the hot oven with its infectious energy and roaring guitar riffs, breaks into an unapologetic atmosphere of authority and resilience. This hard rock, nu metal banger indeed an eye watering masterpiece. The tonation used in singing and the way it creates this atmosphere of urgency, pain and the feeling of fed up is what makes it intriguing. Man, it just a powerful song that goes on to remind us of the rate at which gun violence is rising, and violence itself, the world is getting crazy and therefore we ought to exert some authority and let things get into people’s head, but because of greed, the world is just.

One thing that’s beautiful from the track is how it starts, the moment you hit that play button, you go like whew, those blazing guitars and Jane N’ The Jungle asserting their dominance with those strong vocals like hot knife through butter makes you glued and intrigued by the creativity and talent in the band. Another thing is, you can’t deny the song’s energy, haha it’s like being fed your favorite meal, it’s soo yummy and addictive, it’s fine as sand and makes you porous enough, so it can penetrate through your heart. Such a marvelous masterpiece, it’s a no brainer of a song and that’s thanks to the band’s love for alternative rock, metal, and punk, all blended together in their sounds, making it a must-listen listen piece. And when you’ve been consumed by those beats, the lyrics begin to speak to you, those moments of pain, struggles, anxiety and the society paying no attention to what’s at stake, leaving us to strive through the hard way. The song then becomes a source of hope as well, it pushes you to keep going, and fight for your own with lines like “this is my house, so get the fuck out” sounding the alarm for protecting one’s own and exerting some sort of power over ourselves. This also instigates the band’s fierce nature to craft music that is resonating and beyond normal musical arrangements. If you’ve been listening to good music recently then, this band, Jane N’ The Jungle’s rise has been nothing short of impressive, the flames these peeps have got is just nuts and it’s no surprise they are taking the industry by storm. Lest I forget, but be on the alert for their upcoming tune produced by Cameron Mizell who’s known for his work with Avril Lavigne and Sleeping With Sirens, it’s just gonna be another banger. Now the best part of this single GTFO is the music video that comes with it, man, it gives you this live performance feel as if you’re at the scene when bullets of guns are flying, the the stage crafts and delivery from the band makes it soo amazing, lovely video to complement such a powerful song and that why you can’t miss out on this.

Well, “GTFO” by Jane N’ The Jungle is a message of intent, and one that actually speaks for the people, we can’t continue to live in fear, so let’s protect what’s our own, and never give up, be resilient in everything you do irrespective of your surroundings and make sure you demand what’s right from those greedy men in suits. It’s a song that will get you kicking immediately from the first beatdrop, see you don’t wanna miss this gem of a track, so why don’t you go ahead and give it a listen and enjoy some good music.
