Under the Weight: Allcapsallan Lifts Off with “Pressure”

2 min read

Allcapsallan’s new song, “Pressure”, is everything we’ve been waiting for and more since his last album ‘Family Ties’. This June 22, 2025 release is barebones: no frills, no excessive traps, and no distractions. It’s raw. It’s his life. It’s what happens when the pressure keeps mounting and you have to keep giving, but you’re already done and tapped out. The beat takes the time of a beating heart as his vocals center around it, no bragging or intricate flows, but just talking to the listener as if they can relate and understand his thought process.

The only question left to answer is how real does this track feel? Well, Allcapsallan leaves us with no mystery because the track itself screams from the rooftop: “I’m grinding”. And this is more than a musical track for Allcapsallan. It’s a reflection of the struggle: the grind of his career, his life, and this point where everyone expects so much from him. “We was outside when they ain’t wan’ jump”. That’s it. That line alone drops the most satisfying mic I’ve heard in years because as difficult as it was for them (Whoever “they” is in this case), he was always outside ready and waiting. There’s a level of pride and fatigue in this track that sums up the typical grind in a musician’s life, or any job for that matter. “Pressure” does not put Allcapsallan on any pedastool and gives a realistic vibe of what life under the grind looks and sounds like.

Long Island born and raised, “Pressure” only adds to the personal touch. He’s at home in this track, and I have no doubt he recorded this right there in Long Island. Coming off of a two-year silence, this track sounds like a pressure release, Allcapsallan’s return from the shadows. Let’s face it, this is his next act now. He’s back, and this is only the first crack in what’s to come.
