Chandra – Just With You (Original Single) “When Nostalgia Has its Song”

Released August 15, 2025, the Bristol-based pop-rock band Chandra comes out with their song, Just With You, which is soul-searching and feel-good ballad-cum-confession and a big party. The song is the debut of the band with Rexius Records, and it can be described as a glowing addition to the discography of Chandra, that exists on the basis of warmth, honesty and heartfelt honesty. Since its first notes, Just With You turns into a reminiscent song at once. The song rocks back and forth between the intensity of the rock ballad and the intimacy of tenderness and with it is the fragrance of nostalgia: the odour of a family kitchen, the taste of waves lapping on a seashore, a glimpse of first love. It stretched the singer about as far as he could go, as he himself confesses: this was “raw, raw authenticity,” he knew it had to be “the best singing I had ever really done; real, powerful, yet vulnerable.” The effect is one of a lived-in delivery, one that splinters open emotion as opposed to describing it.
Just With You is more than a love song. It is reflection on universal human desire to belong somewhere, to those points of the time that can make us feel safe, alive, complete. It is a moment of truth and passion to Chandra when he was writing and he even shed tears, to the listeners it becomes a moment of tenderness and hope as they share the stories. It is not music to background sound. It is a song that demands to be felt making the audience stop, breathe, and recall the whole concept of being a human being. By Just With You, Chandra does not simply put out another song, he sends you an invitation to find something beautiful in the memory, connection, and love itself as well.
