The release is timed to align with Lunar New Year festivities, a season traditionally associated with fresh starts, prosperity, and shared light. Rather than leaning on spectacle, “Island Lantern Festival” channels the spirit of the holiday through mood and texture, offering a modern, cross-cultural sound that feels intimate and timeless. Musician, producer and music enthusiast Tony Frissore blends styles from across the globe to bring unique grooves. Educated in Boston and New Orleans, Tony developed a love for Funk, Jazz and jam sessions before heading to Europe, where he built relationships with top DJs and club owners across the Continent. Today, Tony can be found playing in the band Pop Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tony’s music routinely appears on MTV, Discovery, TLC, HGTV, OWN, and DIYNetwork. His music has aired and been Shazammed in over 150 countries across the globe. Tony’s first EDM mix, “The Übermix” was released in 2008, and he released several Hip-hop singles in 2012. He released “Black Market Mix” in April of 2019 and, while under quarantine for COVID-19, Tony released his third album, the down-tempo “Quarantine Chronicles”. Tony’s released multiple singles in 2025, and started 2026 with the release of “Four Walls”.
