The project which was recorded at Make Believe Studios, really strikes with a lot of weight. It mixes muscular fuzz-rock grooves with honest, reflective lyrics about recovering from creative burnout and mental health struggles. Can’t help but love how alive, lovely and human the instruments sounds. Mass built this production from the ground up using custom BilT guitars, punchy bass lines, and live drum tracking. You can actually hear the warmth of the recording room in every single beat and this is sometimes what a good rock needs.
You need to feel the instruments, it pierce, it gritty nature and everything that makes you feel overwhelmed, not the perfect polished ones that want to sound too robotic! The arrangements here blend the raw grit of classic fuzz-rock with modern studio precision. Heavy guitar riffs crunch through the records, while tight drum slides in and deep bass lines keeps the rhythm moving with steady flow.
“I Am the One” welcomes you to the journey with a driving guitar riff and a steady rock drum beat. The precision in the drums are unmatched and really hooks you in with an empowering theme about stepping up, owning your personal power, and proving to yourself that you can handle whatever life throws your way. And sometimes that’s all you need to get to the top, self believe. People often take it for granted but it’s one tool that can skyrocket you! So don’t stop believing, keep going and grind yo ass out!
“On the Way Down” meets you with its thick bass lines and fuzzy guitar chords that builds a tense, shadowy rhythm. The lyrics tackle the scary feeling of losing control during a mental slump, while reminding you that hitting bottom is often the first step toward pulling yourself back up. For if you don’t climb your way down, there’s no way you can climb your way up. So sometimes everything crushing down on you, is a sign that take a look through everything, rethink and give it a better foundation this time!
It wasn’t long ago that we took detailed look at this track “Misery Winter“. It’s a lively track that looks at you, and gives you punchy drums and soaring guitar leads, whilst soaking you in a heavy wave of raw emotion. It explores seasonal depression and creative isolation, capturing that long, cold wait for brighter days to return. We all wait for it, sometimes we burn out of crafting ideas, you want the perfect one, you want the best one, and it gets draining and you just wish another could come already where it will already be bright.
“Thinking of You” sweeps in with a softer, mid-tempo song led by warm guitar strumming and smooth vocal lines. I kinda love this song cos of that warm atmosphere it carries, the guitars are really lovely and doesn’t scream, it’s heavy but doesn’t bite hard and that makes me love it. The song touches on lingering memories, reflecting on past relationships and the quiet ghosts that stay in your mind long after someone walks away. It’s a crazy world, looking for love, loving someone only for you to wake up one day and they don’t want you no more, can’t help but focus, and it’s undeniable how the memories shared won’t go away.
This track “Better Love Me” has quite an attitude to the previous, though you get a bouncy power-pop rhythms and sharp guitar hooks giving it an addictive swagger. It delivers a playful, stubborn attitude about demanding respect in a relationship and knowing your own worth. Sometimes we let love conquer it all and forget that we also deserve to be loved, so always letting people know that you know your worth will always comes with a positive energy in your relationships.
These days we all want that “Rich Girl“, but one thing we often forget is, money and fancy stuffs can’t buy that genuine human connection we want. Yeah, you will get all that you want, but that desire, that burn, that feel might never be experienced. With crunchy blues-rock riffs and a driving rhythm section, the track poke fun at superficial lifestyle choices. “Out the Door” smashes the door in our face with an explosive high note packed with roaring guitars and rapid-fire drums. It closes the album by delivering an inspiring message about cutting ties with toxic energy, walking away from bad situations, and stepping confidently into a fresh start. No one deserves to bring your energy down, so walk away from scenes that doesn’t bring you peace and let them know you ain’t gonna tolerate any negativity or bad energy.

It’s a strong, hook-filled rock record that proves real instruments and honest songwriting still makes the best medicine.
