In a world where love is a rare commodity, it becomes difficult to replace one when you lose them. I have this beauty of a band here Wasson!?, which is made of talents like is composed of Ryan Leverton(Vocals/Guitar), Ben Clarke (Guitar), Brook Osborne (Bass/Guitar), Ben Edwards (Drums), and Igor Forsinetti (Keyboard/Bass) has got this crazy tune out titled Shoulder To Shoulder and wow, this tune is really gonna blow you away with its beats and message.
Now lemme give you a hint about this band. The band who has background Bude, Cornwall, was formed when Ryan, Brook, and Ben.C decided to go on a musical journey, initially driven by the simple pleasures of enjoying rum and music haha and to me I’m glad they did, and with Ben.E and Igor being added to the band’s lineup, took them to new heights. The crazy aspect of this band is they all have influences from different range. While Ryan and Ben.C are inspired by the west coast punk rock scene, Ben.E is a fan of Idles, and Igor in Foo Fighters. Brook brings elements of dub and reggae to the mix, and this is what makes Wasson!? unique with their distinctive style. Oh but here’s the catch Shoulder To Shoulder is the first single from their upcoming album and that should tell you what to expect from the album, cos this single is flames and bangs.
“Shoulder to Shoulder,” is a song that touches on the importance of brotherly love and loss. The song which was Co-written by Paul O’Brien after the loss of his brother, may his soul rest in peace 🕊️ 🕊️, lay emphasis on the importance of supporting friends and family through grief. Life is sometimes nothing without friends and family for they are what keeps us going. So without them how are we gonna scale through life’s struggles. This song harness the importance of love, friends and their role in ones life especially in difficult times. The song has the vibe and fun even tho it touches on themes of love and loss.
It gives you a feel of emotions and fun at the same time and I can’t stop listening to it. I don’t know how they cooked this one but it’s really magical and heavenly. I love how the song kickstart with those crazy guitar riffs and in high tempo and that vocal entry on top of it is crazy, you could feel the emotions in the voice breaking and man it’s beautiful. Let’s stand by our brothers shoulder to shoulder and be there for them always.
