Watch Me Die Inside – Infinity Fall III EP Review: A Dark Journey Through Self-Discovery
Maybe I ain’t the only one experiencing it, but it sure looks like most modern music is just trying way too hard to make you feel good. You turn on the radio or load up a popular streaming playlist, and it’s just a non-stop wave of forced optimism, corporate happiness, and neatly packaged pop songs designed to help you escape reality for three minutes. If you think about it, it’s like the entire industry is terrified of letting us sit in a room with our actual, unfiltered thoughts. See let’s be done with the fake smiles and actually hear something that isn’t afraid to look into the darker corners of the human mind, so brace yourself and listen to this incredible project called Watch Me Die Inside latest three track EP titled Infinity Fall III, which infact is a complete, uncompromising punch to the system.

For those who’ve been with us, you already know Watch Me Die Inside as the brilliant work of a creative force named Aleph. And to the new guys, this project behaves less like a standard band and more like an ongoing artistic documentation of modern human collapse. I love the way Aleph writes music that dissects identity loss, emptiness, internal resistance, and mental exhaustion. So instead of standard songs, these tracks are treated as fragments of a psychological autopsy. They don’t want passive listeners who just vibe out in the background and not go deep into the songs meaning.
You may be asking, what’s the reason for this EP then? Well the philosophy of this heavy new EP is simple but deeply unsettling. It brings us to the questions, what if the greatest danger to your life isn’t actually pain? What if the real trap is comfort? The project argues that we love to fill our heads with cozy, familiar lies long after the truth has already smacked us in the face. People are always looking for the easy way out when the truth hits them, instead of taking accountability and actually being responsible, we find reasons to turn that uncomfortable moments into something positive, instead of accepting the truth the way it is. Now to bring this dark vision to life, the EP masterfully fuses heavy modern metal with brutal dynamics, crushing rhythms, and an incredibly dense, cinematic atmosphere.
Let’s crack this EP open and take a look at these three fragments to understand them. We are welcomed to “Uneasy”, a track that does exactly what the title says. In here you realize how the track drops you right into a state of total, shifting tension. The guitars are heavy and jagged, paired with a driving rhythm section that feels like a racing heartbeat. “Uneasy” explores the constant, exhausting mental friction of a mind that has completely stopped trusting itself. It captures that exact late-night feeling where you question your memories, your choices, and your own identity, leaving you suspended in a state of high alert where nothing feels safe or certain anymore. It’s like you don’t know what you’ve become again, and you begin to question if all those choices are what have actually led you here.
Then comes “Boring”. I know you probably be thinking well it’s gonna be as it name, well be warned, this track is anything but dull. It’s a heavy, aggressive metal assault that targets a very specific enemy, thus the quiet prison of everyday routine. I mean just look at it, wake up in the morning, get ready for work, go to work, come back home, scroll scroll through media apps and back to bed again. “Boring” is a fierce attack on how we allow safety to slowly replace our actual purpose in life. It looks at how people willingly lock themselves into boring, repetitive habits and comfortable schedules just to avoid the scary reality of the unknown. It’s like people don’t even wanna explore these days, we all just want to be safe, yes safety is good, but what’s life without any risks? If we gonna take the safest option everyday then we might as well sleep throughout the year. I love how the song warns us that a life without risk isn’t a safe life, it’s just a slow, comfortable death from the inside out.
We are then transported to the title track “Infinity Fall III“. Now this final title track serves as the absolute emotional climax of the record. It beautifully combines brutal metal breakdowns with a massive, haunting atmosphere that feels incredibly dark and grand. When you pay attention to the song, you realize how it ain’t about finding a happy ending or achieving a magical redemption. Instead, it’s about the exact moment you finally choose total clarity over a comforting illusion, even if that truth completely breaks you. It’s about embracing the free fall, letting go of the fake certainties you used to cling to, and finally waking up to face your real self without any filters. This many people fail to do, we always want to comfort ourselves with lies, illusions and delusions, instead of actually letting go off those stuffs and be real with ourselves.
Well Watch Me Die Inside has crafted a truly fascinating piece of dark art with this release. By focusing on raw honesty and heavy confrontational themes, they have created a metal EP that demands your full attention. To me it’s the perfect soundtrack for a late-night drive, a heavy gym session, or any moment when you need a break from the fake positivity of modern society. Catch the Infinity Fall III live on major streaming platforms and enjoy a deep look into your ugly parts!
