Something we can’t control and has to be controlled by someone else for our survival and wish you could tell them about their actions but…oh wait I got this band here La Need Machine with their latest single out dubbed “I Wish I Could Fly” and man, this song is a beautiful tune that address issues of climate change on wildlife. Now you dig? Haha yes the emerging Indie band hailing from Seattle are already making waves with their genre-bending sound and oh my goodness this new single out is one that captures listeners attention with those unique beats. Their music tho infuses elements of Indie Pop, Alt Country, neo-classic rock, Americana, and First Wave Melodic Punk and create a unique and unforgettable music experience.
Now their latest single “I Wish I Could Fly”, is a song that talks about the impact of climate change on wildlife. The song lay emphasis on how animals suffer especially from bushfire which consumes their homes or habitats. But you know the crazy thing here? The song was written from a Bear’s perspective and wow, this is creativity at its peak. The song according to bear wishes it could fly just like the bed when those bushfires sparks and they have no where to go, nothing to feed on or a place to hide. The climate change affects them Soo badly that they wish they could fly like a bird so that if their homes are destroyed they can easily spot new ones with abundant food chain available and all. This is a beautiful song that apply to our everyday life, sometimes the struggles we go through in a certain neighborhood makes us wish we were in a different neighborhood, the development and the treatment they get, we wish we could also benefit the same way.
The beautiful thing about this song is that, the reason the bear wish they could fly when those tragedies hit them is to also help other animals flee to safety. And this lay emphasis on how we humans need to be there for each other and help others reach heights we have reached and provide them the needed support. This song is really deep and enjoyable.
