4 min read

You ever enjoyed some hip-hop album soo much that you begin to question your taste of music before? Well that’s the exact kinda album I have here. See the year just keeps getting better and better, and after waiting for what felt like a decade, Ace Pariston is back again with an album to grace his fans, and the vibes way fans are all over social media talking about this new album titled “Saints Row” makes you think that must be some good shit then and trust me it’s fucking lit. This 10 track album taste like nothing you’ve ever had before, the arrangements, beats, flow and rap game, are just top notch, which gets you brazy and jamming to the fucking tunes, wow, I love it.

Let’s get right to it then, the album starts with the leading and titled song of the album “Saints Row”. See this is honestly one of the best album openers I’ve heard this year. The way the beats blends in effortlessly with the lyrics and flow of Ace makes it an intriguing listening, then as the song goes on you realize how those little vocal switches makes you glued and hooked to see how the rest of the album pans out. This is a really great song that talks about believing in yourself and chasing your dreams till you make it a reality, it’s an anthem of never give up and keep going vibe. Even with the tempo of the beats and it’s nature and how Ace Pariston maintains his flow and deliver a clear cut lyrics to give listeners an enjoyable listening experience needs to be studied by these school boys. It’s just amazing and I love it, after this track just let it play out to track two and see your mood and vibe afterwards hahaha, crazy and amazing. The next song I’m gonna wipe it face for you is the 4th track titled “Vince Carter”. This is one of the great songs on the album that had me completely turned up. The way the beats goes, with the flow effortlessly sitting on top of the beats and riding it is something you don’t get often with these off beats mainstreams. And see I’m gonna leave this one as a surprise but I’ll tell you this, Ace’s wordplay and delivery is a solid 10/10 in this song and you most definitely have to check it out. It’s calm and relaxed yet will get you jamming and vibing to it. Then the next track after this, sweet dreams baby, the drive, energy and delivery on that track is heavenly.

And the last song that brings the album to a close is “Drift”. A song with a switch in tempo and feels like one particular song that pushes you to the edge with its growing beats. The beats runs and therefore creates this imaginary atmosphere where you run after your love or after a heartbreak. It’s an emotional rollercoaster banger that I can jam to all day. It’s a song about love and loss and it’s easy to just follow the story and enjoy it. The lyrics lay emphasis on accepting change and moving on after a heartbreak. Sometimes life gets tougher and makes you think your life has ended after loosing your love one, it’s mentally draining and sometimes makes you hopeless and wish they could reverse their decisions but they gone and it’s up to you to get up back and use their break-up as a motivational tool. Get back up and move on like nothing happened, yea it’s difficult their memories will linger around but you gotta be resilient and move on.

Well whether you’re a fan of Ace Pariston’s music or not, this is a very incredible album that any hip-hop fan would absolutely love and want more. “Saints Row” is just the beginning of what Ace promises to deliver his fans as his career continues to grow. And all the features did amazingly incredible on each track, wow, kudos to them. The album is filled with thrills and chills, the beats, lyrics, message, flow and a top production to match it delivery just makes this the best album to jam to this weekend and should be on your favorite playlist.
