“Under the Sun” by Ramblin’ Vision: A Punk Record That Doesn’t Apologize for Anything

Ramblin’ Vision’s new album “Under the Sun” feels like someone kicked open a door, plugged in everything they own, and hit record before anyone could tell them to calm down. Claudiu, who plays every single instrument himself, doesn’t hold back on anything here. The album is loud, fast, and straight from the gut — the kind of punk that doesn’t wait for permission and definitely doesn’t ask for it.

The project has grown with each release. ‘Rock Your Life‘ introduced the raw DIY setup. ‘Decor’ added a deeper emotional punch. And now “Under the Sun” shows RamblinVision completely locked into his own style: rough edges, real stories, and songs that sound like they were built with equal parts frustration, stubbornness, and heart.

The album is a mix of grit, energy, and honest writing. It pulls from the spirit of Ramones, Motörhead, GBH, and The Exploited, but still feels personal. Claudiu isn’t trying to be anyone else. He’s just trying to get everything out of his system, and lucky for us, he recorded it.

Opening the album to a bright start is the song ‘The Sun‘; This song kicks the door in right away. Fast, sharp, and straight to the point. It feels like someone starting their day by running instead of stretching. Great for mornings when coffee isn’t enough and you need motivation that sounds like a punch. ‘Lost in Time‘;A tighter, heavier track with a restless feel. There’s motion in every line, like trying to catch something that keeps slipping away. For anyone who forgets what day it is more often than they’d like to admit.

Like I Fall Down‘; Rough, emotional, and way too relatable. The riffs pull the weight while the vocals carry the frustration. The musical version of tripping on your own feet and pretending you meant to do it. ‘Wrong‘; Sharp and quick, this one sounds like someone calling themselves out before anyone else can. Perfect for when you already know you messed up but still need to hear it out loud. ‘Run’; Fast and urgent. The song moves like it’s being chased by responsibilities it doesn’t want to deal with. A great track for ignoring texts you “forgot” to reply to.

‘Infinity’; A steadier build with a strong pulse. It feels open but still carries pressure underneath. Good for thinking deep thoughts you’ll forget in ten minutes. ‘A Time Before‘; A reflective track without slowing down the pace. It leans into memory without turning soft. Ideal for remembering the good old days, even if they weren’t that good. ‘See You Tomorrow‘; Bright in energy but not in mood. It’s hopeful in an uneasy way, like promising something you’re not sure you’ll deliver. Works well as a closing message you send at 3 a.m. and regret at 3:01. ‘Too Much’; A burst of frustration that stays catchy. Everything hits fast, but the emotion sits heavy underneath. ‘Walk in the City’ A perfect closer. Gritty, steady, and honest. It captures the feeling of moving through a place that’s loud but still lets you think.

Under the Sun” is the strongest Ramblin’ Vision release yet. It brings back the heart of punk — real, raw, and loud — without losing the emotional weight behind it. Claudiu’s DIY approach gives the album a human grip you don’t get from polished studios. You can hear the effort, the frustration, the joy, and the stubborn refusal to hold back.

If you want punk that hits fast, hits hard, and still has something to say, this album is exactly that. It’s honest. It’s messy. It’s alive. And it proves you don’t need a big team or a perfect setup to make something that sticks. “Under the Sun” is streaming now — loud enough to wake the neighbors, honest enough to keep you listening.
