Lyndo Jaco’s “All Over Again” Captures the Joy of Doing It Again

Maybe you’ll have a change of mind after listening to this track. Well, tell you what, if you are looking for that classic Australian pub rock sound that makes you want to grab a cold drink and turn the volume way up, you need to check out Lyndo Jaco. Man just released a new single called “All Over Again,” and to me it feels like a total throwback to that golden era of rock, but I love the modern twist to it too!

Now you may be wondering who Lyndo is. Actually he’s a bit of a rock recluse. He lives in Happy Valley, just south of Adelaide, and records everything in his home studio. Simple guy right? But the thing is, it’s actually pretty funny to think about him in there—he’s got this tranquil view overlooking a veggie patch, but once he plugs in his Jackson Dinky guitar and starts tracking, he probably scares the birds away. He handles everything himself, from the drums and bass to the vocals, which gives his tracks this raw, hands-on energy in the final mix.

I like what he did on this song. He crafted a masterpiece that talks about all that feeling of working your tail off to reach a goal and then realizing you’d happily do the whole crazy journey one more time. Crazy right, I know, but that feeling is something sometimes you can’t ignore. So to ma people out there who put in the “hard yards” and actually find satisfaction in the struggle, this is for you! Now technically, the track has a great flow. It starts with this laid-back, bass-driven groove in the verses that feels like you’re just cruising down the highway. But then it hits the chorus and these layers of guitars just kick in, turning it into a total earworm. It’s the kind of melody that gets stuck in your head for days. It strikes a cool balance between being relaxed and being completely electrifying once the distortion dials in.

I know you’ll be trying to find what you love about him already, but to me, I love how he has his eyes onto the next thing even when the previous is in motion. According to him, he’s got a lot of demos waiting in the wings, so he isn’t here to slow down, and he ain’t sitting around and waiting for praises. He’s just a guy in his garage making noise that sounds good to the soul.

Well “All Over Again” is a masterpiece that keeps you going even if you’ve done it before. So I say it’s the perfect soundtrack for anyone who has ever finished a massive challenge and thought, “Yeah, let’s go again.”
